OTHELLO — The last of five suspects in an early January armed robbery near Othello turned himself in on Wednesday.

Samuel Draper, 38, of the Wenatchee area, turned himself into Adams County deputies and was booked into the Adams County Jail on robbery charges. Draper is one of five assailants who allegedly robbed a residence at gunpoint on Jan. 2. Victims at the scene of the robbery, located in the 800 block of state Route 24, south of Othello, claimed three masked people came into their residence sometime overnight on Jan. 2.

One of the suspects was allegedly armed with a black semi-automatic pistol with a silver barrel and threatened to shoot and kill the occupants of the house. One of the occupants was allegedly hit several times in the face with a closed fist. Victims claimed they were forced into a bedroom and threatened not to leave. The suspects left the residence with several items, including a few cellphones, one of which was later tracked to the east Wenatchee area.

Two of the suspects, Zane Grissom, 29, and Jacklyn Yarborough, 27, both of the greater Wenatchee area, were arrested in Wenatchee a few days after the robbery. Grissom and Yarborough were booked into the Adams County Jail on robbery charges and warrants they had out for their arrest. Two more suspects, Kevin Bradley, 37, and Jennifer Ramsay, 29, both of the greater Wenatchee area, were later caught and booked into the Chelan County Jail on warrants and robbery charges.

Adams County Sheriff Dale Wagner commended the Wenatchee Police Department, East Wenatchee Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshal's Office, Washington State Crime Scene Response Team and helpful citizens for their help in catching the five suspects.

“I want to thank our team in Adams County for all the hard work they have put into this case to ensure all involved were identified and captured. Thanks to all deputies, corrections staff and dispatchers,” Wager stated. “I am very proud of the work put in by all those involved in this complex investigation. The results have been outstanding.”
