Glacier Nordic racers compete in Seeley Lake

Glacier Nordic Ski Team had several skiers place Saturday at the Skiesta Youth Races in Seeley Lake.

The race included teams from Seeley, Sandpoint, Idaho, and Missoula.

Whitefish skier Isabel Burguiere had a decisive first place in the 1K race.

In the 3K race, Henry Bennetts was third overall and earned first place in the U12 boys category.

In the 5K race, Willem Gray led the group in fifth overall and third in the U14 boys category. He was followed closely by Nate Ingelfinger who was fourth in the U14.

Maeve Ingelfinger earned first for the U12 girls in the 5K, followed closely by Erica Burguiere who was second.

Jacob Bailey raced the 10K and was third in the U16 boys.

To cap off a successful day, Nate Ingelfinger won the drawing for a $100 gift certificate for the SLE Outside store. The team races next in West Yellowstone on the second weekend of February.
