Babcock wins two races in Missoula

Columbia Falls senior Colton Babcock continued his winning ways in the water, nabbing first place in the 200 freestyle (1:44.48) and 100 butterfly (52.54) at the Missoula Invitational swim meet Saturday.

The Wildcats also took fifth in the 400 freestyle relay.

As a team, the boys took fifth.

The team swims in Havre this weekend.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
