COEUR d’ALENE — Through the quarterfinals on Friday at the North Idaho Rumble, a familiar face is still on top with a few other locals well within range of a team championship at Coeur d’Alene High.

Post Falls leads the team scoring with 110.5 points, advancing Brelane Huber (98 pounds), Ridge Lovett (113), A.J. De La Rosa (120), Matt McLeod (120), Jason Burchell (138), Braydon Huber (145), Wyatt Shelly (152), Nate DeGraw (220) and Brad Noesen (220) to today’s semifinal round.

Alex Edelblute (98), Sam Edelblute (106), Tavis Woempner (113), Chandler Axtell (120), Brian Edelblute (126), Larry Johnson (138), Christian Brandt (160) and Jared Walker (195) moved onto the semifinals for Lakeland, which is second with 101 points.

Dom Jessos (98), Hunter Schueller (106), Casey Randles (182) and Alex Marshall (220) advanced to the semis for tournament host Coeur d’Alene, which is third with 94 points.

The tournament concludes today, with championship finals scheduled to begin around 4 p.m.
