Man who died in Polson crash identified

Authorities have identified the man killed in a car crash Saturday on Kerr Dam Road near Polson.
Daryl Allen Kerr, 39, of Charlo, was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed in a 2006 BMW 650 when his car left the road, hit an embankment and was launched 80-100 feet in the air before coming to rest in a field, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
Kerr was ejected from the vehicle after failing to wear his seatbelt. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Highway Patrol officials said alcohol, drugs and speed are all suspected in the accident.
