Wednesday’s program is open to the public and will feature two video presentations on threats and solutions for protecting the valley’s waters.

Flathead Lake Biological Station Director Dr. Jim Elser will present the annual State of the Lake Report. The Lakers will also present the annual Stewardship Award to the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Aquatic Invasive Species Team.

The program begins at 7 p.m. at the Glacier Camp and Conference Center, between Lakeside and Rollins.

A social hour will precede the report beginning at 6:15 p.m., with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
