Cabinet Peaks Medical Center welcomes new manager to two departments

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center has announced Jeremy Canary as the new manager of the cardiopulmonary and diabetes/nutrition departments, which include respiratory therapy, sleep center, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, diabetes and nutrition.

Canary has worked in healthcare for 24 years. He holds a degree in respiratory therapy from San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, California, and a certificate in respiratory therapy from Thomas Technical College in Thomasville, Georgia. He also has certificates in paramedic technology and emergency medical technologies.

Before joining the team at Cabinet Peaks, canary worked for Independent Partners, managing homecare ventilation patients and selling new FDA-released medical devices. Prior to that, his work history includes additional experience in clinical sales and education for ventilation and critical care products, as well as teaching and photography.

According to a news release, Canary's departments have “recently completed accreditation with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine for the CPMC Sleep Center and are excited to announce that we are planning for an expansion to two beds later this year.”
