It was another beautiful golfing day Wednesday, July 19, and eight lady golfers met to play the front nine of Cabinet View Golf Course.

The game of the day was “Black Ball” wherein one point was taken for each sand, water, rough and out-of-bounds ball with the least number of “black balls” winning.

For Group A, Sue Froberg and Sharon Michels tied with 11 marks each and for Group B Phyll Mackey had four marks. For regular golf, in Group A Sue Froberg had 45 for best low gross and Sharon Michels had 34 for low net.

For Group B, Anna Guthrie had 52 for low gross and Phyll mackey had 35 for low net.

The league welcomes all women golfers to join us for nine holes of golf on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Come early for coffee and snacks and then join us after for lunch at one of our local restaurants.
