Libby Friends of the Library will dedicate the Mary Hebenstreit Memorial Garden at the Libby Library 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, according to a news release.

Hebenstreit, who died last year, is described as a lover of books and flowers and was a “dedicated volunteer and member of the Libby Friends of the Library for many years, doing whatever was needed to help support the library and its programs,” the news release states.

The flower garden took almost a year to plan, build and plant.

The public is encouraged to attend the short ceremony, which will be followed by refreshments.
