SANDPOINT — Global CBD has joined the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce.
The new business was welcomed by chamber officials with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, May 22.
Global CBD has been in business for over a year selling cannabidiol products online and have now opened Idaho’s first retail CBD store. Their products are all derived from agricultural hemp that is removed from the Controlled Substance Act and not defined as marijuana and thereby federally legal. They remove all the THC to be legal in the state of Idaho and then make CBD-infused lotions, oils, tinctures and vapor products.
“We are very excited to be a part of a new industry that is helping thousands of people with many different health conditions,” said Joel Bordeaux, who owns the company along with Kelsey Kilmartin.
The pair started the company with the goal of providing alternative health solutions with agricultural hemp CBD as the central component. Bordeaux and Kilmartin recommend CBD products for a wide range of issues including chronic pain, Crohn’s, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, PTSD, cardiovascular disease, and anxiety.
“We find our best customers are ones that have done their own research on CBD and are interested in trying a non-pharmaceutical product to help with up to 52 known and researched conditions that CBD helps with,” Bordeaux said.
People can find a full assortment of drinks, tinctures, vapors and pet products on their website and at their new storefront in downtown Sandpoint.
