The Montana Coaches Association on Wednesday singled out Libby High School tennis coach Kyle Hannah when it released its annual “Coaches of the Year” list.

Every year, association members vote for the coaches they believe deserve “Coach of the Year” status. According to a news release, due to a shortage of member coaches within Class B-C boy’s tennis, which Hannah coaches, he was unable to attain the title of “Coach of the Year” for his sport. He was therefore placed under the category of “Boy’s Special Sports.”

Winning coaches will be honored at the association’s awards program in conjunction with its all-sport coaches clinic, Aug. 3 at the Great Falls High Auditorium in Great Falls.
