Health screening July 28 in Libby

A health-screening event is scheduled for July 28 at VFW Post No. 1548 at 114 W. 2nd St. in Libby.
Area residents can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and other conditions according to a news release by Life Line Screening, the organization behind the event.
Screenings can check for a number of items, including risk for heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and stroke; cholesterol levels; and kidney and thyroid function. Free parking and wheelchair access is available.
“Packages start at $149, but consultants will work with you to create a package that is right for you based on your age and risk factors,” the news release states. Preregistration is required.
