A young big horn sheep has made a few appearances around Coeur d’Alene recently. Gary and Darlene Williams captured these photos of the ram late Thursday morning as it passed through their yard near the corner of 15th Street and Locust Avenue. Phil Cooper, a wildlife conservation educator with Idaho Fish and Game, said the sheep was first reported last week. Cooper said the animal has been seen near Nettleton Gulch and 15th Street and was seen Thursday on a trail on Canfield Mountain.
