The Flathead Rapids 12U girls soccer team came out on top in the Montana Showcase in Helena last weekend. They beat the Bozeman Blitzz in the championship game, 4-3.
Several players scored for the team throughout the weekend. Finley McCarthy and Olivia Genovese each scored four goals, Maeve Ingelfinger and Isabelle Cooke each had three, Charlotte Perkins and Rya Hirsch both had two and Brook Roberts scored one.
The Rapids had a rough start to the tournament losing to Livingston Purple 2-1 on Saturday. They came back later in the day handily beating Livingston White 10-1.
In semifinal action they beat the Missoula Strikers, 4-2 to advance to the final.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
