Stolen vehicle, guns found in Othello traffic stop

OTHELLO — A stolen truck and a cache of guns were found during a traffic stop near Othello over the weekend
About 9 a.m. on Saturday Adams County deputies spotted a Toyota 4Runner towing an older model Ford pickup truck. The Ford reportedly did not have operating lights or a license plate and a traffic stop was conducted. Deputies learned the Ford was reported stolen out of Grant County in August 2016, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as James E. Vancleve, and passenger Richard Rodgers were taken into custody. The ACSO did not provides ages and cities of residence for the two suspects. Several guns were observed in the Toyota by deputies, which is in violation of Vancleve's parole, as he is a convicted felon.
The Toyota and Ford were towed from the scene and a search warrant was obtained for both vehicles. Multiple firearms, Airsoft and pellet rifles, and several rounds of ammunition were recovered from the Toyota. Vancleve and Rodgers were booked into the Adams County Jail.
