Blues returns to Wallace in a big way in July.
The sixth annual Historic Wallace Blues Festival takes place July 7, 8 and 9.
Organized by the Wallace District Arts Council, the event has earned three Best Blues Festival awards from the Inland Empire Blues Society.
A lineup of 14 blues artists will perform in eight locations around the historic town from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and again from 11 a.m. to midnight in a gated venue on Saturday. Music will be playing all day at the beer garden.
On Sunday morning, the Silver Valley Kiwanis Breakfast will be served with live music from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Wallace Elks Lodge (Fifth and Cedar streets).
General admission tickets are $40, but with proof of residency, Silver Vally residents pay just $20 at the door only. Children under 12 are $10 at the door only. To purchase advance tickets and for more information, visit wallacebluesfestival.com.
