The River Rock Café at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center on June 12 introduced a new dining service for patients, according to a news release.
Unit Host: Concierge Dining Services allows patients to order their own custom-made meal for when they wish to eat, much like room service at a hotel, the news release states. A diverse food selection is made available and is printed on easily read restaurant-style menus.
“Everything from the ketchup packets to the approved seasoning is tailored to fit each specific patients’ current diet and preferences,” the news release states. “The Unit Host menu accommodates special diets and restrictions that are prescribed by the physicians to ensure better outcomes for the patients. Additionally, patients have the option to order from the café menu.”
Patients’ friends and family can also order through the Unit Host system.
