Bayley, a junior from Lakeland High in Rathdrum, finished tied for 17th place in the Southwestern Invitational on Tuesday at the North Ranch Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Bayley shot a 2-over 218 to earn his fourth Top 25 finish of the season. Washington State finished fourth as a team in the tournament.

Stangel, a senior outfielder from Lake City High, hit a grand slam in the third inning of a 10-2 win over Cal-Santa Barbara on Sunday in Palm Springs, Calif. Stangel had two hits in the win, helping the eighth-ranked Huskies improve to 11-2.

Chalich, a 5-foot-6 sophomore guard from Coeur d’Alene High, played in 31 games for the Saints (18-13), averaging 18.9 minutes per game. Carroll lost at Montana Tech in the first round of the Frontier Conference tournament on Tuesday.

Litalien, a 5-foot-7 senior guard from Post Falls High, scored 13 points for the Warriors in a 69-58 win over Carroll on Saturday night in Lewiston. With the win, Lewis-Clark State set a program record for wins in a season and moved up to second in this week’s NAIA poll, released on Tuesday.
