The Log Inn, located on Tobe Way near three mile, is now owned and operated by the Pipitone family, who are excited to make Boundary County their new home.

Eric and Abbey Pipitone, along with their son, Ricco, were drawn to the area, as they are traditionally from a small town and decided it was time to get back to a more simple way of life.

Professionally, this is their first owned enterprise, however, they have both managed their fair share of big chain hospitalities and have successfully learned how to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere.

According to the Pipitones, future plans include complete room renovations, possible lobby expansion, new furnishings and flooring, and much more.

The inn now has a cozy dining area and an expanded breakfast menu, including everything from granola to self-made waffles.

“We have a locally-made poppyseed loaf that is fantastic!” Abbey Pipitone said.

According to the Pipitones, business has been very successful since ownership has changed hands this last December, and they are excited to be a part of the community.

“We want to be a big part of the community,” Eric Pipitone said. “This is our home now.”

As members of the Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce, the Pipitones said they are looking forward to investing more into the surrounding community and plan to stay here for years to come.
