OTHELLO — Adams County deputies are searching for a man who allegedly forced his way into a home near Othello and later assaulted a person at the house.

On Wednesday the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man, allegedly Brandon K. Lopez, 23, kicking in a door at a home in the 1800 block of West Sutton Road, north of Othello. As deputies were en route, Lopez reportedly left the scene in a silver Chevrolet Impala, which was later found unoccupied in the 300 block of South Reynolds Road.

Deputies learned Lopez had allegedly kicked down the door at the residence and threatened the people inside. He reportedly was able to get into the house and damaged some property. Lopez allegedly later returned to the residence, assaulted a person and fled again. The sheriff’s office says they have probable cause to arrest Lopez for suspicion of assault, felony harassment and second-degree malicious mischief.

If you know where Lopez is please call 509-659-1122.
