Mundel garners All-American honors at Carroll

Columbia Falls runner Samantha Mundel is now an All-American in the college ranks. Mundel was sixth in the 3,000 meters (9:57.62) to be an All-American at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday in Johnson City, Tenn.
Mundel is a sophomore at Carroll College in Helena.
Mundel was the 2015 state Class A champion in the 3,200 meters in track in 2014 and 2015 and state champ in the 1,600 meters in 2015 for the Wildkats. In cross-country she was the conference and state A champion in 2014. She has numerous other cross country and track awards as well.
