Taste of Broadway benefit at the JACC

A Taste of Broadway, featuring a dinner and entertainment, will be held March 29 at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center in Post Falls.
The event, hosted by Friends of the JACC to benefit and celebrate the center, takes place from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The evening begins with a hosted beer and wine bar for the first hour with a tour of the art gallery where the work of Diane Higdem is on display. A plated dinner will follow with musical entertainment by Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre performers.
Tickets are $75 per person and advance ticket purchases are encouraged.
Dinner choices are: Beer-braised beef short-rib served with parsnip-potato puree, crispy leeks and a sweet onion lager reduction; or prosciutto-wrapped airline chicken breast filled with basil pesto cream cheese topped with a light cream sauce, served with garlic French green beans and whipped Yukon potatoes; or Alaskan salmon topped with a dill-lemon compound butter, served with garlic French green beans and whipped Yukon potatoes; or quinoa stuffed bell pepper filled with sautéed veggies, feta and pine nuts.
