Kastning, a senior from Lakeland High, was named to the all-tournament team at the Division II Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla., after batting .500 and hitting a walk-off triple to help the Chargers finish the tournament 3-2. Through nine games this season, Kastning was batting .515 with seven RBIs and eight runs scored for the Chargers (4-5).
Caelyn Orlandi

Orlandi, a 5-9 senior guard from Coeur d’Alene High, was named Frontier Conference Player of the Year, the conference announced on Tuesday. Orlandi averaged 14 points and 6.72 assists per game this season. She scored a career-high 30 points in a conference tournament semifinal game against Montana Tech and had 16 points and seven assists in the championship game. Her 215 assists on the season lead the NAIA. “I’m happy for Caelyn,” Lewis-Clark State coach Brian Orr said. “It’s a great honor and well deserved. She’s the engine that makes us go. She has worked and has improved every year she has been here.” L-C State will face William Penn on Thursday in the first round of the NAIA Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.
Brittany Tackett

Tackett, a 6-foot forward from Coeur d’Alene High, was named to the Frontier Conference first team. Tackett averaged 13.9 and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Warriors. She is first in the NAIA in field goal percentage at .676 (196 for 290). “I’m excited for Brittany,” Lewis-Clark State coach Brian Orr said. “She has been the most consistent player for us all year and it is truly well deserved. Conference stats play an important role in the selection process and she showed she is one of the best.”
Brooke Litalien

Litalien, a 5-7 senior guard from Post Falls High, was named a Frontier Conference honorable mention for the second year in a row. Litalien averaged 9.2 points per game and is seventh in the NAIA in 3-point percentage .429 (60 for 140). She averaged 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the conference tournament for the Warriors.

DeHaas, a 6-1 junior third baseman/first baseman from Coeur d’Alene High, is batting .500 (10 for 20) with six runs scored, five doubles, one triple and a home run for the Bald Eagles (3-2), a Division II school in Loch Haven, Penn.
