McKeown, Rhea shine in District 1 All-Star games

MULLAN — Post Falls High senior Cameron McKeown scored a game-high 31 points and was named Most Valuable Player in leading the West All-Stars past the East 119-82 in the annual District 1 All-Star game at the Mullan Pavilion on Friday night.

Genesis Prep’s Stephane Manzi scored 15 points for the West and won a slam dunk contest at halftime of the boys game. Brenden Jessen of Timberlake won the boys 3-point contest. Lake City’s Duncan Butler added 17 points for the West.

St. Maries’ Jake Sieler scored 15 points for the East.

MULLAN — Lakeside senior Lillian Rhea earned MVP honors, finishing with 20 points for the East in a win over the West in the District 1 All-Star game at the Mullan Pavilion.

Coeur d’Alene senior Kayla Fagan won the 3-point contest at halftime and finished with nine points for the East.

Kellogg’s Marley Chambers led the West with 13 points.
