Georgena ‘Willie’ Drapeau, 79
On March 6, 2017, the world and our family lost an amazing woman, Georgena “Willie” Drapeau, 79, who passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Willie was born Feb. 21, 1938, to Roy and Edna Arthurs, both from Sandpoint, Idaho. She has one surviving sister, Ginger Seely.
On Feb. 23, 1956, she married the love of her life, Ronald. Their adventure lasted 55 loving years. Ron passed away on May 26, 2011.
Willie had a big heart and was loved by all she met. She welcomed anyone who would stop by. She had two special friends, Carol Branson and Ray Milks.
Over the years, she provided a house or lent an ear to anyone who needed it. She always was there to listen or help anyone she could.
Most summers would find her camping at Round Lake and fishing for trout or off playing Bingo with her sister-in-law, Laveta Symons, deceased.
Willie is survived by her daughter, Theresa Eskridge (Mark), and their children, Adrianna Reeder (Ryan), Michele Sullivan (Jason) and Brittany Bolt (Josh); grandchildren Alex, Gage, Riley and Tate Wilson; also Charlie, Ryan and Miranda Reeder; Damien and Lily Bolt, Jasmin, Maddie and Jeremiah Sullivan; great-great-grandchildren Stetson and Tori; son Patrick Drapeau (Sandra), and their children, Jade, Kaitlin, Greg, Chris and Jake; granddaughter Zoey; and adopted grandkids Mac McPhedran and Bill Howard.
Please join us for a celebration of her life at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Potluck to follow at 2544 E. Ferry Landings Clubhouse, Post Falls.
