Raymond ‘Ray’ Daniel Schultz, 31
Raymond “Ray” Daniel Schultz (formally known as Raymond Daniel Olinski) passed away at his home on March 7, 2017, in Palm Coast, Fla. Although always known by his loving family and friends as the happy and smiling Ray, he tragically passed away after many years of silent pain and suffering.
Ray was born on Aug. 6, 1985, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He graduated from Post Falls Visions Alternative High School and attended North Idaho College. He was a talented Muay Thai, Jiu-jitsu and MMA instructor at Moo Doo Academy MMA in Florida, volunteered for many community and charitable organizations in Idaho, won the Mayor’s Award for outstanding community service, and enjoyed being outdoors, camping and playing video games including competing in warhammer tournaments.
Ray is survived by his mother, Tina-Marie Schultz and her husband, John Schultz; his father, Matthew Olinski and his wife, JoAnne Olinski; his siblings, Jennifer Kiefer, Gwendolyn Olinski, Kris McCreedy-Karlak and his wife, Lauren McCreedy-Karlak, and Kaitlyn Olinski; his grandparents, Elvira Diana, Catherine and George Galka, and Janice Olinski; including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his Idaho friends whom he also considered family. Ray touched the hearts of many and will be missed forever.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Spokane Valley United Methodist Church, 115 N. Raymond Road, Spokane Valley, Wash.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
