The "Kelly's Pease on Earth" Facebook page has been created by Pease's children to honor their mother's legacy and bring awareness to the tragedy that took her from them.

Pease's daughter, Gabby, said this will be the main avenue through which the family will communicate updates and information as their story progresses.

"We aren't talking to any more reporters at the time because we have a lot going on," Gabby told The Press on Monday. "We will soon talk to more people to have that story out there."

Kelly Pease's body was found in a car Wednesday at Kootenai Health. The 37-year-old mother of five was a nursing student at North Idaho College. Her ex-fiancé, Steven Denson, 61, was wanted on suspicion of killing Pease but apparently took his own life when confronted by law enforcement Thursday.

Gabby said the family is thankful for the positivity and love they see and feel flowing from the community in this dark time.

"We appreciate the community pulling together and supporting us in this time of need," she said.

A PayPal account has been set up to help the family pay for Pease's funeral. Extra funds will go to her children. To donate, visit www.paypal.me/gabbypease.

The family's gofundme.com account is now closed.
