HEALTH: Yep, it's complicated

Trump: “Nobody Knew Health Care Could Be So Complicated.” Certainly, when someone who is as well educated and intelligent as Trump makes such a statement, we should be alarmed. Obviously, it’s true because only 60+ countries around the world have had FREE or nearly FREE health care for its citizens for varying years beginning back in the ’50s. Obviously an ineffective, complicated, failed system they haven’t figured out how to dump in some 60+ years.

Given our Congress has FREE health care for themselves and their families, I have to assume it’s an experimental system being tried before they release it to the rest of the citizens. While the ACA (ObamaCare) ensures the highest number of people in the history of our country, (the 2016 uninsured rate remains at an all-time low with the uninsured rate at 11.9 percent for Americans 18-64 and 8.6 percent of all Americans. 8.6 percent is down from 9.1 percent as of fourth quarter 2015, and 15.7 percent before the Affordable Care Act was signed into law), it certainly makes sense to scrap it for an untried program created by someone who has no understanding of the concept of insurance. His tutorial emphasized his astonishment that healthy people’s premiums pay the costs for sick people. DUH.

Given so many other countries have successful health care for all programs, perhaps there should be a requirement that all individuals seeking public office should spend a minimum of one year studying public policy in any of the 60+ countries that have health care for all.
