Little Guy Wrestling continued in Plains last Friday and Saturday at the 2017 Intervalley Tournament. Thirteen teams joined the competition, which started on Friday at 5:30 p.m. for juniors. On Saturday, beginners and novice and middle wrestlers hit the mats.

Clark Fork’s Alberton/Superior teams joined Frenchtown, Covallis, Plains/Hot Springs, Bonner, Hamilton, Lolo, Stevensville, Florence, Missoula, Darby, Thompson Falls, and Salmon.

Clark Fork Junior’s Jake Calloway won first place in the 135 weight and Tim Galarneau won in the 215 weight class. Other Clark Fork juniors who placed were Thomas Anderson, second place at 140, Carter Woodson at 130, third place, and fourth place for Hunter Haskins at 112.

In Novice, Phineas Cataldo and Trizten Avilla of Clark Fork, took fourth in 60 pound. Wade Calloway, Gage Raush, and Andrew Allen ¬of Clark Fork took fourth place in Novice in 70 pound. Also in Novice at 124, Jaxon Green took first place and at 158, Kaleb Pearce took third for Clark Fork.
