Senior Brandon Karberg signed last week to play soccer at Northwest University, a Christian college in Kirkland, Washington.
Karberg is the first Wildcat soccer player to sign with a college in more than a decade. As a goalie, Karberg was a first team all-conference selection and all-state selection.
He said he’ll redshirt as a freshman. Northwest University is an NAIA School and a member of the Cascade Conference, playing the likes of Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College.
Karberg was also the place kicker for the Wildcat football team.
Last season the Eagles were 11-8 and made it to the quarterfinals of the Cascade Conference soccer championships.
