In honor of National Library Week, the Coeur d’Alene and Community Library Network libraries will let you donate food to pay your late fees April 9 through 22.

Nonperishable food for people and pets can be used toward overdue fines only.

Food donations cannot be use for charges related to lost or damaged items.

Donations will go to food banks and animal shelters in the communities where they are donated. Check with your local library to see how Food for Fines will be applied.
