Great Falls track and field

Robb, a senior from Coeur d’Alene High, finished fourth in the Dum and Dummer half marathon on Feb. 25 in Lewiston, finishing in a time of 1 hour, 14 minutes and 31 seconds to qualify for the NAIA meet after finishing under the qualifying time of 1 hour, 15 minutes.

Vanessa Shippy

Oklahoma State softball

Shippy, a junior second baseman from Lake City High, leads the Cowboys (22-11) in hitting with a .388 batting average (39 for 98) with 31 runs scored and 24 RBIs. Shippy has scored 31 runs, with eight doubles, four triples and three home runs this season. Oklahoma State is currently 3-0 in Big 12 Conference play.

Idaho track and field

Story, a freshman from Coeur d’Alene High, won the 1,500 meter run during the Sam Adams Classic at Whitworth University in Spokane on March 24. Story finished in 4:39.05.

Idaho track and field

Bauman, a sophomore from Post Falls High, finished fifth in the hammer throw at the Sam Adams Classic on March 24 with a mark of 170 feet, 5 inches.

Dominic Conigliaro

College of Idaho baseball

Conigliaro, a 5-foot-11 freshman first baseman/pitcher from Lake City High, is third on the Yotes (14-18) with a batting average of .331 (39 for 118), with 10 runs scored and 15 RBIs. His on-base percentage of .401 leads the team.

Breana Burke

UNLV softball

Burke, a freshman pitcher/outfielder from Coeur d’Alene High, pitched five scoreless innings for the Rebels (18-13, 2-4 Western Athletic Conference) in a 4-2 win over visiting New Mexico on March 25. Burke allowed two hits, walking none.
