Adult summer Parks and Rec tennis leagues now forming

SANDPOINT — Registration is still open for the City of Sandpoint Adult Tennis League. Players must be 16 or older to participate and a legal guardian must sign a waiver if a participant is under 18.

The Singles League runs from May 21 through July 1. The Doubles Regular League begins May 16 and runs through Aug. 2, and an Extended Doubles League runs from Aug. 8 through Sept. 27. League play is every Wednesday night at Travers Park, Lakeview Park and City Beach, with some play on Tuesday if needed.

Discounted player fees are available for Sandpoint Tennis Association members and City of Sandpoint residents. Registration packets with more information are available in the Parks and Rec office, or may be downloaded from www.teamsideline.com/sites/sandpoint/downloads.

A completed registration packet must be delivered or mailed to Sandpoint Parks and Rec Department at 1123 Lake St. on or before the May 11 registration deadline.
