A sunny yet brisk morning welcomed the Women’s Golf Association for their first day of league golf May 3 at the Cabinet View Golf Course.

Ten women played the game of “Criers Tourney,” wherein each player deducted their worst hole of the day for a net score. For Group A there was a tie for best net by Sharon Michels and Christa Reisinger and for Group B the winner was Marilee Brown.

Best low gross for the day for Group A was Sue Froberg and Marilee Brown for Group B. The best low net was Christa Reisinger for Group A and Anna Guthrie for Group B. Sharon Michels recorded a long chip-in on #7 for par.

The league welcomes all women golfers to join us for golf on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Come early for coffee and snacks and then join us afterwards for lunch at one of our local restaurants.
