POST FALLS — The Bulldog jumpers continued a strong season, with freshman Maddie Morgan soaring a personal best 15-11 to win the long jump, and senior Spencer Bassett jumping 40-5 to win the triple jump, the lone Bulldogs to pick up wins at the 15-team Meet of Champions on Thursday at sunny and warm Post Falls High School.

Bassett was also second in the long jump, and teamed with Tyren Witthaus, Erik Suhr and Ammon Ollerton to finish second in the 4X100 relay to lead a strong showing by the boys team. Clay Rasmussen was second in the 3,200 in his best showing of the season for the boys.

Morgan also hit a personal best 33-5 to finish second in the triple jump, and Yeo Yarnell (800) and Katherine Kaul (1,600) were second for the Bulldog girls.

No team scores are kept at the meet.

The Bulldogs are at Regionals on May 11.
