The Flathead Libertarian Party is hosting a “Libertarian Think Bash” at Casey’s Pub and Grill in downtown Whitefish Friday, beginning at 5 p.m.

The event will feature Matt Kibbe, a nationally known libertarian, Tea Party activist and New York Times best-selling author. Kibbe will speak and host a Q&A session during the first hour of the event, followed by break-out discussion groups. The entire event will include “weird snacks, booze and Grateful Dead music,” according to a press release.

The Libertarian candidate for the special U.S. House election in Montana, Mark Wicks, will also be present at the event, along with three-term Bozeman mayor Jeff Kraus, who will emcee the Think Bash.
