There is a big difference between the candidates running for LPOSD board of trustees in each of zones 2, 3, and 5.

The biggest priority of any school board member is the educational welfare of the students of the public school district. I would add that being a good steward of the taxpayers’ money is also important. With that in mind, I recommend three specific candidates: Zone 2 — Gary Suppiger; Zone 3 — Lonnie Williams; and Zone 5 — Cary Kelly. They understand the importance of continuing the momentum of the district as it continues to improve student achievement, provide quality programs, and maintain fiscal responsibility.

If you live in zone 2, 3 or 5, vote Suppiger, Williams or Kelly on May 16.
