Swan Valley Bear Resources will host an informational Bear Fair on Saturday, June 3, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Swan Valley Community Hall, Montana 83, mile marker 42.5 in Condon. This community event will help people learn about grizzly bear behavior, biology, and conflict management.

The event will include presentations by Dr. Chris Servheen, former USFWS Grizzly Bear Recovery Coordinator; Tim Manley, MTFWP Grizzly Bear Management Specialist; and Lori Roberts, MTFWP Grizzly Bear Research Biologist. In addition to the above presenters, bear management experts, professionals, organizations, and companies will be available to provide information. Bear-related kids activities will also be available.

Free pizza, provided by the Swan Valley Cafe, and beer, provided by Big Sky Brewing Company, will be available while supplies last. For details visit SwanValleyConnections.org or call 754-3137.

The Bear Fair is hosted by Swan Valley Bear Resources and their partners: Swan Valley Connections; Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks; and the U.S. Forest Service.
