Jinnifer Mariman named legal advisor to Board of Health

Jinnifer Mariman has been retained as a special deputy county attorney to advise the Lincoln County Board of Health.
Mariman was appointed May 10 during a regular meeting of the Lincoln County Commissioners.
According to Resolution No. 989, Mariman’s appointment resulted from a caseload causing the Lincoln County Attorney’s Office to have “neither the time nor expertise required to devote to the complex issues involved with the Board of Health.”
The resolution also notes the resignation of former special deputy county attorney Allan Payne as a contributing factor.
The resolution stipulates Mariman shall update the County Attorney twice a year on the work of the Board of Health.”
