SANDPOINT — Global CBD's grand opening starts today as the company opens the first retail location in Idaho to sell cannabidiol products.

Global CBD products are made with "stocks and stems" of agricultural hemp cannabidiol and contain no THC, making it legal to sell in Idaho.

Owners and founders, Joel Bordeaux and Kelsey Kilmartin of Sandpoint, have been planning and researching CBD products for over two years and now have a line of products available in Idaho and across the country.

The grand opening event is set for 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday-Monday, then will be open regularly from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday at 205 N. First Ave.
