Authorities on Sunday recovered the body of a missing Kalispell woman from the Flathead River. A fisherman reported finding the body 2 miles upstream from the Sportsman Bridge south of Kalispell on U.S. 93.

According to a press release from Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry, the Montana State Crime lab has identified the woman as 55-year-old Dacia Finch, who was last seen March 30.

Finch’s car was found at Kiwanis Park on March 31 by a Flathead County deputy, at which time authorities launched an extensive search of the river.

The cause of death was ruled as drowning.
