Porsche drivers cruising through Mineral County were in for a surprise when some drivers in the group were pulled over for speeding.

Sheriff Tom Bauer clocked one driver going 135 mph on Thursday. He said the driver told him they had driven 80 miles out of their way to travel through Montana because they thought there wasn’t a speed limit. However, his speeding ticket proved otherwise.

A Highway Patrol trooper near Frenchtown also pulled over two drivers. Sheriff Bauer said he saw about 100 of the vehicles traveling through the county on their way to a car show.

We’re not sure where these Porsches originated or were going, but if you want to get a closer look at one, you can visit Spokane July 9-15 for the 62nd annual Porsche parade.
