Alex Knoll, a 12-year-old inventor from Post Falls, appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” today. See his reaction to being invited to appear on the show and his emotional discussion with the talk show host.

The creator of the award-winning Ability App, Alex talked to DeGeneres, his hero, about the app and its purpose - to improve the lives of all people with disabilities by giving them resources to make informed decisions.

Knoll, who is lacking funds to fully develop the Ability App, received a big surprise from DeGeneres during the visit.
