Charlo, Arlee track teams sending several athletes to state

There are several Mission Valley area kids that qualified for the MHSA Class A & C state meet Friday and Saturday at the Laurel Sports Complex.
The Charlo Vikings qualified seven boys who will participate in multiple events. Wills Degrandpre qualified in the 1600 and 3200-meters. Jared Doty will participate in the 4x100 relay and the 4X400 relay. Zane Hafliger will be included in the 4X100 and the 4X400 relay.
Vikings Toby Odom will participate in the 4X100 relay, 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, and the 4X400 relay.
Charlo QB Landers Smith has proven he is just as fast on the track as he is on the gridiron, utilizing his natural speed and jumping ability. Smith will participate in the 4X100 relay, 100 meters, 200 meters, and pole vault.
Garrett Vaughan will participate in the 4X100 relay, the 300-meter hurdles, and the 4X400 relay.
Lady Vikes qualify seven
The Charlo Lady Vikings also qualified a total of seven tracksters for the MHSA Class A & C state meet Friday and Saturday at the Laurel Sports Complex.
Kaitlin Cox is set to participate in the 4X100 relay. Allie Delaney qualified for five events including the 4X100 relay, the 100-meter hurdles, the 300-meter hurdles, the 200-meter hurdles, and the 4X400 relay.
Destiny Manual will participate in the 4X100 and 4X400 relay. Taylor McCready qualified for the 800 meter, the 4X400 relay, and the pole vault. Cheyenne Nagy qualified for the 4X100 relay and the 4X400 relay. Kara Tatukivei will participate in the 4X100 and the 4X400 relay.
Scarlets going to state
Arlee High School trackster Ashley Revis was one of many Scarlets that qualified for the Class A & C state meet Friday at Frenchtown High School.
Revis qualified in the 100, 200 and 400 meter dash. Revis will also join teammates Carly Hergett, Bryndle Goyins, and Shawntaya Nelson on the 4X100 relay team. She will also be paired with Nelson, Goyins, and Yocum in the 4X400 relay.
Hergett Hurdles to state
Arlee trackster Carly Hergett qualified for five events including three individual events.
Hergett quailed in the 100-meter hurdles, the long jump, and triple jump.
Yocum punches ticket to state
Arlee High School trackster Natalie Yocum qualified in three individual events.
Yocum qualified in the 800, the 1,600, and the 3,200 meter races.
