Some Halloween fun at the firehouse
Silver Valley kids fill up the Osburn fire house on Oct. 29 during a Halloween party hosted by SCFD1. Children participated in games such as mystery boxes, a costume contest, and pumpkin painting contest. Even Sparky the Fire Dog made an appearance.
Sisters Aubrey and Aliyah Birdsell cashed in on winning the pumpkin painting contest by getting to ride in a fire engine to school on Halloween. Firefighters picked up the sisters outside of Wallace and gave them a ride to Silver Hills Elementary. Fire crews arrived with lights flashing for pick up and drop off!
Costume contest winner, Alli Wilkinson of Osburn, also got a ride to school Thursday morning.
