Columbia Falls soccer squads had several all-state or all-conference players this season.

Boys:

All-state: Auguste Emond

All-conference, first team: Emond

All conference, second team: Jakob Grien, John Gilk, Alex Garate

All conference, honorable mention: Skylar Chute

Girls:

All state: Hannah Gedlaman, Josie Windauer, Macey Sandefer, Hannah Callender

Uphill skiers need to be aware of avalanches on Big Mtn.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
