Write-in tallies settle Harrison, State Line elections

COEUR d'ALENE — The write-in results from Tuesday's city election were tallied on Wednesday and settled races in Harrison and State Line.

Russell Riberich had 34 votes as a write-in candidate for Harrison City Council, while Brad Hruza had 30.

As a result, Riberich won one of three open four-year seats along with Debbie Lockhart, who had 55 votes, and Jessica Hutson, who had 46.

In the city of State Line, mayoral write-in candidate Robert Wilson had five votes to claim the seat.

For city council, write-in candidates Valerie Hamblin and Keith Warner each had five votes to earn the two open seats.
