PLASTIC: Killing ocean life

While waiting for my wife to get done grocery shopping, it made me mad and sad to see 99 out of 100 people using plastic bags to carry their groceries in. I read a report that said 95 percent of all garbage in the ocean is plastic. I don’t know how many know this, but they must know plastic doesn’t go away.
How hard is it for people to take their own bags to the store? I am 89 years old so it isn’t going to affect me but it is my grandkids. When the ocean keeps filling up with plastic, it keeps killing more fish, which will affect generations to come.
California and Hawaii, quit using plastic.
