Carroll College junior Samantha Mundel (Columbia Falls) was selected to the Frontier Conference’s all-conference cross country team, the league announced Tuesday.

Mundel placed second at the Frontier Conference Championships in early November to help lead the Carroll women to a third straight conference title. She finished the 5-kilometer run in 17:39, just four seconds off her best time of the season.

Mundel finished in the top 10 five times this season and placed 46th at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships.

At Columbia Falls, Mundel won the 2014 Class A state championship with a time of 18:19.
