BONNERS FERRY — Law enforcement searched for a man who ran from a stopped vehicle around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19, on the North Hill of Highway 95. The search took place at the top of North Hill, in the area of Boundary County Landfill, and surrounding areas.
“Just keep doors locked, outside lights on, and vehicles and garages locked,” Boundary County Sheriff Dave Kramer recommended.
The suspect was taken into custody at 8:10 p.m., after law enforcement received a tip that a man matching the suspect’s description was in the 3 Mile Corner Store.
“Good teamwork with multiple agencies and the public,” said Kramer.
